High-end refurbishment of a 3-bed period Victorian home
Originally found as a Derelict Probate property abandoned for a number of years so took advantage of tax breaks on the renovation to reduce refurb costs. Reconfigured the space to produce a new Large Kitchen Diner, Utility Room, Luxurious Large Master bathroom and Guest Room with private Ensuite.
Full Rewire and Replumb upgrading the house to a high tech smart home with multi-zonal underfloor heating, smart thermostats and smart lighting. Upgraded the performance of the building with new Double Glazed Modern Sash Windows, Insulated Plasterboard, Insulated Floors and Ceilings, Low energy LED Lighting throughout and soundproofing to the bedrooms.
Before & After
Historical features were restored where possible or replaced. This included the Original Marble Fire Surrounds, Cast Iron FirePlaces, Plaster Mouldings and Ceiling Roses, Staircase Newel Posts, Cast Iron Radiators, Removal of Pebbledash and restoration of original brickwork and stonework. High-quality materials were used to provide that high end finish. This includes Engineered Oak Flooring throughout the ground floor, Solid Oak Worktops to the Kitchen, Ceramic Belfast Sinks, Granite Worktops in the Utility Room, Italian Carrara Marble Bath and Double Vanity, Crystal Chandeliers.
